Welcome to Dog Obedience Club of Hollywood...

The Dog Obedience club of Hollywood, Inc. (DOCOH) is licensed by the American Kennel Club to hold obedience, rally and agility trials and matches. We have conducted obedience classes in Broward County for over fifty five years. Our instructors are experienced and volunteer their time. In addition to various levels of Obedience Classes, we provide instruction and practice in Dog Agility, Tracking, advanced work and preparation for competition.

Membership in the club is open to anyone who has an interest in dog sports (pure breed or mixed breed owners), and we invite you to attend our meetings. Meetings: the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. To apply for membership, click here.

In addition to sponsoring AKC events and conducting classes, we put on demonstrations at schools and shopping malls and participate in Pet Therapy in nursing homes and other facilities. If you would like well-behaved dogs and enjoy activities with them, then this is the place for you.

Beginning Agility Classes in 2008

The Spring 2008 Level I Agility class (Foundation) is full and closed to new registrants. Our next Level I Agility class will start in September 2008. These classes are very popular and fill quickly. Please email us at AgilityDOCOH@aol.com if you are interested in registering or have any questions about the Agility Program at the Dog Obedience Club of Hollywood.

Meeting Location

The monthly meetings are being held on the third Tuesday of every month (except December). The June 17, 2008 meeting will be held at the office of Cripsers, 5810 S. University Drive, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33328 (corner of University Drive and Stirling Road.) Meeting starts at 7:30 PM.
