​AKC Delegate Information

The Dog Obedience Club of Hollywood has been an AKC licensed club for over 50 years. We are pleased to announce that we have been approved to advance our membership with the AKC from a license club to a member club at this time.  With this change, our club now has an AKC Delegate to represent us. For over sixty years, the Dog Obedience Club of Hollywood (DOCOH) has provided an environment for people to train their dogs in Broward County. We originally started as a club focused on Obedience, both competitive and household, but have expanded over the years to include instruction and practice in Dog Agility, Rally, and Tracking. We are currently licensed to hold Obedience, Rally, Agility Trials, and Tracking Tests sanctioned by the American Kennel Club (AKC).

We offer training classes and practice on most Tuesdays at the Bergeron Rodeo Arena in Davie. We also have monthly meetings and visitors are always welcome!  Please check our calendar for exact information.  Membership in the club is open to anyone interested in dogs and dog sports (purebred and mixed breed).

We also offer community outreach including Obedience/Agility/Tracking demonstrations at events, AKC Responsible Pet Ownership Day events, AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluations and Therapy Dog opportunities.
